The Boston Bruins have recently signed defenseman Ty Gallagher to a two-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract with their affiliate, the Providence Bruins. This contract will commence in the 2025-26 season. In the interim, Gallagher will join Providence on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement for the remainder of the current season.
Gallagher was selected by the Bruins in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. His addition is anticipated to bolster Providence’s defensive lineup as they approach the conclusion of the regular season and prepare for the Calder Cup Playoffs.
